Eric and Ginny Hanson spent their early years together working normal jobs and raising their family in upstate New York. When God called them onto the missions field, they had no way of knowing the amazing ways that He would lead and provide! Selling all they had and stepping out in faith, the Hansons began training with YWAM ministries in 1994 in Hawaii and later Colorado, completing strategic courses in missions ministry, counseling, healing, worship, and more. Ginny also worked in conjunction with C. Peter Wagner ministries.

The Hansons first came to Cambodia in 1999 while serving as Discipleship Training School outreach leaders. They soon felt God calling them to a new direction in ministry, and In His Steps International (IHSI) was birthed from that call. IHSI is an apostolic ministry serving as a covering for ministries operating in specific regions, beginning with In His Steps Cambodia (IHSC).

In addition to Cambodia, the Hansons minister internationally, teaching in Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, the Philippines, and various areas in the U.S. They are passionately committed to walking in love, setting captives free, and seeing God’s Kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven!

Eric and Ginny Hanson believe in the importance of submission and spiritual covering. They consider it a joy to serve under the covering of Pastor Joseph Winger and Boulder Street Church in Colorado Springs, CO.
